When Tammy & CJ brought this one to me, it was a whole lot different. As with many of the Rude Toys songs, though, what caught my ear was what CJ was doing. I’m not sure Tammy was convinced by the idea of having her start it a capella. I really think that has a galvanizing effect, though - it’s a decent melody, and having it come out of nowhere like that just works.
